Value Investment Philosophy
As value investors, our strategy is to conduct fundamental research to invest in undervalued securities on a diversified basis. We do so using an exclusively licensed methodology (SVA™) to time purchases and sales. Our value approach and investment strategies are designed to preserve clients' capital and achive superior returns.

TCC is affliated with an investment counselor, Trapeze Asset Management Inc.(TAMI). Both companies have common ownership and share certain personnel and facilities. The two organizations exchange research ideas and strategies, all premised on the philosophy of value investing.

Managed Accounts
TCC offers managed accounts which are separate, individualized discretionary accounts managed by our team of seasoned portfolio managers. Accounts are tailored to individual clients by taking into consideration their specific objectives, circumstances, risk tolerance and tax considerations. TCC’s managed accounts are offered to those with $500,000 or more.

Personal Relationships and Comprehensive Reporting
Continuing communication with each client is critical. We need to know your objectives and circumstances and must be kept aware of changes in your financial affairs in order to effectively manage your funds. Accordingly, we encourage personal contact with us. You are kept informed of your investments and our outlook via portfolio statements, quarterly letters, annual tax reporting and ongoing personal contact.

TCC is an Introducing Broker to TD Waterhouse Canada Inc., a subsidiary of The Toronto-Dominion Bank. TCC manages the accounts and TD Waterhouse acts as the custodian for all cash and securities. TCC is a member of the Investment Dealers Association of Canada, a participating organization of the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and member of the Canadian Investor Protection Fund.
